M specific suspension.
The M specific adaptive suspension highlights the vehicle's great dynamic potential. The COMFORT drive mode smooths out uneven road surfaces with ease. The SPORT mode is perfect for country roads and uneven racetracks. Uncompromisingly direct, SPORT+ guarantees a particularly precise ride experience on even racetracks.
M xDrive.
BMW M xDrive with Active M differential guarantees maximum traction and driving dynamics for everyday driving, as well as at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive. You can choose between the drive variants 4WD and 4WD Sport
8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.
The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic offers numerous shifting options: extremely dynamic or particularly comfortable and smooth. You can shift manually using the gear lever o the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel, and adjust the shifting speed of the automatic transmission using Drivelogic.
M Servotronic.
In every driving situation, M Servotronic delivers the right steering power, by adjusting to sit the current driving speed. In addition, it delivers a direct and precise steering feel at any speed. The system is specifically calibrated for the M fine and offers three different settings that can be selected via the M setup.
M Compound brakes.
Thanks to the use of various materials, M Compound brakes achieve outstanding deceleration values and are extremely stable and highly durable. They also weigh less, which has a positive impact on agilty, dynamics and acceleration. The Black high- gloss brake calipers with the M logo are the hallmark of this high-performance M specific braking system.
Design
Front design.
The front of the BMW X4 M stands for uncompromising athleticism and dynamics. One surefire eye-catcher s the striking M kidney grille with double slats in black high- gloss. It combines with the narrow headlights to enter into @ dynamic symbiosis with the distinctly three-dimensional styling. Rounding off the sporty appearance of this extroverted sports activity coupé (SAC) are the large hexagonal air inlets with honeycomb structure and the integrated air curtains.

The aerodynamically optimised M exterior mirrors are a significant part of the sporty and dynamic M design. Attached to the body by a double-bridge designed base, they underscore the beautiful aesthetics of the vehicle and convey a sense of precision engineering down to the last detail. The additional LED indicators are fitted perfectly into a long, narrow groove.
Rear design.
The athletically sculpted tail of the BMW X4 M stands for pure high performance: Muscular proportions on the wheel arches and the rear apron emphasise the dynamic ambitions. The flamboyant full LED rear lights in L design and the vertical reflectors lend the tail section an additional measure ¢ sporting flair. A mighty rear diffuserin black high-gloss with striking twin tailpipes in chrome complete this impression.
M leather steering wheel.
The M leather steering wheel with shift paddles and contoured thumb rests provides a direct, athletic steering experience and maximum control. The integrated multifunction enables the operation of various multimedia and assistance systems. The red MI/M2 buttons can be used to access two preset M Drive configurations.
M Sport seats with bucket seat character.
The multi-adjustable M Sport seats with bucket seat character and partly integrated headrest provide excellent lateral support for you and your front passenger. In addition, the backrest width can be individually adjusted. Their special design with black M logo highlights the vehicle's athletic capabilities.
M gear selector switch.
The illuminated M gear selector switch features an M specific switch pattern and excellent operability. In manual *S* mode, the driver can shift gears manually using the selector lever or the gearshift paddles; in *D" mode, shifting occurs automatically. The Drivelogic rocker switch makes selection of three M specific shift programmes possible.

Driving Assistant.
Driving Assistant Professional offers optimum comfort and safety during aritical or monotonaus traffic situations. Apart from the contents of the Driving Assistant, it also includes Steering and Lane Control Assistant with extended functions, Emergency Stop Assistant and Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection.
Parking Assistant Plus.
Parking Assistant Plus makes parking and manoeuvring the vehicle easier. It features among others the Surround View system including Top View, Panorama View, Remote 3D View, as well as a lateral parking aid, the emergency braking function Active Park Distance Control, Parking Assistant with longitudinal and lateral guidance and Reversing Assistant.
